Fishs Eddy Collaboration
At west elm, we love bringing you collaborations from across the globe so you can design your home with pieces that speak to you. We’ve collaborated with New York based Fishs Eddy, which has 25 years of expertise when it comes to creating exquisite dishes. Inspired by antique dishes and glasses they discovered on a road trip in upstate New York, these designers create stunning collections with American influence. We collaborated with the iconic New York City home store to design dinnerware and serving pieces perfect for meeting, greeting and eating.
Reminiscent of old hotels, roadside coffee shops and forgone diners, this collaboration features serving trays that make you the most talked about hostess in town. Add charm and whimsy to your spread with colorful serving trays featuring vintage designs from 1950’s artists. Get even more artsy with cheese trays mimicking the look of a painter’s palette. Evoke the look of a vintage cafe with a gilded mirror tray. The brass rim adds a rustic and industrial touch while the mirrored glass adds contemporary elegance to any spread. Some trays are even made of ceramic or stoneware making them ideal for use both indoors and outdoors when entertaining friends and family.
The Fishs Eddy Collaboration includes stunning serving platters that can be used at self-serve dinner buffets or to present the main courses at a more upscale event. Many pieces in this collaboration even feature designs from Charley Harper who was a painter active in the 50s and 60s. He drew inspiration from nature to create iconic mid-century modern imagery and images including flamingos and bulldogs, which emerge in this collaboration. Spice up any design and turn your tabletop into a conversation piece with trays and plates featuring these antique illustrations. From round and oval to square and rectangular, you’ll find the shape you need to serve meals up in style.
Cozy up on the couch with Fishs Eddy mugs that complement your serving trays and platters. Whether you’re enjoying a quiet morning by the fire or relaxing with your favourite literary novel after a long day in the office, these mugs are sure to warm up your day. Made of stoneware with decal print, these mugs can hold up to 12 fluid ounces of your delightful beverages. With foxes, ice cream cones and flamingos, each one tells a fun story while spicing up your home decor. Display on a retro buffet from the same collaboration to complete the vintage look.
Our Fishs Eddy Collaboration also brings striking glassware to your tabletop for everyday enjoyment and fun get-togethers. Once again featuring Charley Harper’s designs, you can match these glasses to mugs and plates for a cohesive look or collect them all for a contrasting touch. Made of mouth-blown glass, this colorful glassware is sold individually so you can choose the right number for your specific needs. Complete the look by pairing with a pitcher from the same collection for a cohesive look that fits right in at backyard barbecues and holiday events.
Finish off your Fishs Eddy dining table with dinnerware from our collaboration. Salad plates in this collection feature a seven inch diameter so you can even use them as appetizer plates when warming guests up for the main course. The cardinal artwork from Charley Harper means these plates fit right in during the winter holidays. For more upscale events, opt for the gilded plates from Fishs Eddy. These plates add a touch of metallic shimmer with black and gold or pink and gold color options. Take it up a notch with dinnerware featuring gilded words that define the delight of enjoying a delicious meal. All dinnerware in this collaboration is dishwasher safe so you can toss them in the machine and get back to entertaining friends and family.
Make appetizers more fun with tray stands from Fishs Eddy. Featuring three delicate tiers, this stand is great for Sunday brunch or even when displaying an array of dessert options on a buffet table. Add a boxed set of ceramic nut bowls to set out finger foods to enjoy while chatting as guests continue to arrive. These bowls are also the ideal size for olives and candies, too.
